My experience with iKhokha Flyer↗︎ is that it has everything you will ever need as far as everything goes.
If you’ve been doing any kind of research at all, You’d know that the iK Flyer rivals directly with the Yoco Khumo and WAPPoint PrintOS.
Though most of the iK Flyer’s features compare very similar to its rivals…
You can easily see that the iK Flyer has a strong competitive advantage in terms of price, POS hardware accessory support, and just how it looks!
Which is all you ever need from a portable card machine these days.
Also, The iK Flyer’s user interface is satisfyingly great. The menu system is very intuitive, and it’s very easy and quick to navigate through different screens and settings.

My Thoughts on the iKhokha Mover
The iK Mover doesn’t differ much from its competitors and it only beats them in price!
In summary, here’s how it stacks up against competition ✅.
First of all, it is a super portable card machine, it is very reliable and really fast to process transactions!
Second. It’s always the cheapest on the market. 99% of the time always about 20% cheaper than the Yoco Go and WAPPoint Pocket Pro. Which works exactly the same as the iK Mover.
More, it pairs with POS hardware and can also be used to sell prepaid services.
Additional POS hardware and the ability to sell prepaid services is something its rivals don’t really have, if they do, it’s usually at a higher cost in comparison to iKhokha’s packages.
One Thing to Think About – The iK Mover always requires to be paired with a smartphone/tablet in order to work.
So for a more productive setup, I recommend always having a dedicated phone/tablet on your shop counter for employees to use. As in this example below:
Though the phone pairing arrangement can be limiting for some larger businesses.
I must still emphasize that the iKhokha Mover is still a very fast and reliable card machine, such that the limitations will most likely be based on how fast or reliable your phone is.
However, if things move a lot faster in your business. I’d recommend you skip this version and invest in a standalone card machine option (One that works entirely on its own or without the phone) – i.e. iKhokha Shaker Solo↓ or iKhokha Flyer↑.
So my final take on the iK mover is this: Only buy this card machine if you’re strictly on a budget or if you plan to start small and upgrade as you grow.
Otherwise, the iK Mover is an affordable great card machine that just needs a phone to work.

The iKhokha Shaker Solo↗︎ Card Machine is what used to be the best before the iKhokha Flyer was introduced.
It also works completely standalone, with unlimited 4G data connection at only R49/month, and also has a Built-in Printer.
The only thing to note is that it uses only one (Solo) or one universal SIM card.
My Thoughts on the iKhokha Shaker Solo
Simply put. The iK Shaker Solo is good in the category of price and has adequate convenient features for a business of any size.
In our review, we find it perfect as a good in-between option or a money saver for a busier business such as a restaurant, bar/tavern, supermarket .etc.
Here’s why I think the iK Shaker is a Good Middle Option:
It is a reliable, standalone, classic card reader machine that is fast and does everything else you will ever need.
That is, it prints receipts, pairs to POS hardware, sells prepaid services, has a Universal SIM card, and doesn’t have the fragility of a touchscreen.
So as you can see, the iK Shaker Solo can be seen as a serious upgrade from the limitations of the iK Mover↑ and sort of matches the advantages of the iK Flyer↑, even though it doesn’t have a touchscreen interface.
Overall, what to appreciate about the iK Shaker Solo↗︎ is that it comes at a reasonable price for value. Hence I recommend choosing it if you cannot afford the iK Flyer↑.

iKhokha Card Machine Transaction Fees
For every swiped transaction, iKhokha charges per-transaction fees starting from 2.75% – 2.50% Ex VAT or 3.16% – 2.875% Including VAT.
The 2.75% Ex VAT is what gets charged when you use iKhokha for the first time and the 2.5% Ex VAT is what the fees can potentially be dropped to when your business turns over R100 000 a month.

As discussed above, the iKhokha Mover does everything else that all iKhokha speed points can do (sell prepaid services and connect to a Point of Sale Hardware)…
…but it pairs with a phone to work and you’ll just need to buy additional hardware to make it service a larger shop.
The higher end options (iKhokha Flyer and Solo) are still very perfect for a small business and would actually make good long term investments for when things start moving alot faster in your business.
Best iKhokha Choice or Any Other Businesses and Larger Businesses ✅
For any other larger business, I recommend buying any of the standalone card machines because they all have all the features you need.
In this case, you should choose either the iKhokha Flyer or iKhokha Shaker Solo based on your budget.
Choosing between the iKhokha Flyer and Shaker Solo should be simple:
These two card machines are basically of the same level, there are no tradeoffs in practical use, except that the Flyer can take two Sim cards whereas the Shaker Solo can only take one.
Though the one-universal sim card on the Shaker Solo is arguably similar in reliability compared to the two sim cards on the Flyer…
…I’d still recommend the iK Flyer as a stronger network contender just for peace of mind. As you know with most gadgets, newer is usually better.
Overall, the decision can be based on budget and personal preference for physical features i.e. modern touchscreen vs stronger classic card machine built.
